My name is Andromeda, but you can call me whatever you want. I'm a Slytherin, but don't let that cloud your judgment. I don't depend on labels to describe a person, and in turn expect the same by most of my peers. Quite frankly, I don't expect much from people, as the ones you trust seem to be the same ones that let you down the most. Anyway, you want to know more about me? Well, I'm not sure why, as you can just owl me, but I suppose I'll go on. I'm obviously a student at Hogwarts, and as aforementioned I belong to the Slytherin house. Currently in my sixth year, I suppose I'm just like everyone else in my year when I say I'm just trying to figure out my life. It all seems pretty fucked right now considering, but I keep on, I suppose. There's not much more to me, well not that I'd be very open about at least. Send an owl my way and maybe you'll learn a bit more about me. - Andy

Surprise, Surprise || Andy, Amey, and August

whovian-here:

ameliaskeletons:

Amey returned August’s smile, rather happy to be near him. For some reason, he made her feel.. happy. She didn’t really understand why. But, she’d figure that out in the future if need-be. Her gazed followed Andromeda for a minute. She knew that she was up to something, she just didn’t know what. It couldn’t be that bad, right? She decided on following along for a while, her company was pleasant and she didn’t want to ruin their time by doing anything stupid. She began to drift off into her own world before she was pulled back by August’s voice. Turning to face him, she smiled. That hair is quite.. sexy. The way he plays with it…  I’ve never noticed that before..Stop. What in Godric’s name are you doing Amelia? Why are you thinking like that? She laughed at herself slightly, trying to cover up her gawking. ”Yeah, A bit better. I’m getting there slowly.” It was true, she was a bit better. She was getting better with every passing day. It was still hard without Rodolphus, but she could get over him. She was strong.

“How about you, August? Are you feeling better?” She knew that he’d been rather sad lately because of his grandmother’s passing. She hoped he was alright, It always made her feel bad when he was upset. She cared about the boy alot, he meant alot to her, and he’d always been there for her.

She noticed that a few people were staring at the trio as they wandered past. It didn’t surprise her, they were from completely different houses. Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. She just shrugged them off, smiling gently at them all. She also noticed that a few of them were staring at her with evil expressions. Especially the Slytherins. She glared at them, letting them know she wasn’t intimidated by them.

August’s eyes couldn’t help but trail over Amey’s face, taking in all the laughter lines indented around her eyes, and all her freckles that were speckled across her nose, and her perfectly shaped lips that he couldn’t help but think about kissing. They just looked so…  Brilliant? Before meeting Amelia, he had no idea that lips could be anything but lips. Sure, he’d kissed another girl and her lips were great, but Amelia’s were fantastic in comparison. Bloody hell,he told himself, trying to pull from his mind. She’s talking to you and you’re staring madly at her. Get it together. He nodded slowly in response to her question. “Erm… Yeah, I’m alright I suppose. Could be better, but nothing can really be done about it now, so I may as well try and get over it.” he sighed a little before smiling at her. “That’s good that you’re getting better though. Rudolphus is a prat for doing that to you, you know?” He ran an anxious hand through his hair again, moving his eyes to the ground for only a moment before smiling at the Ravenclaw, forcing himself to look everywhere but her lips.

“Andy?” he called ahead, trying to catch the Slytherin’s attention without having to move from Amelia’s side. “I have a feeling you were lying to me about the whole needing-help-with-a-paper thing.” August had noticed that she was awfully… Cheery for a Slytherin, especially as one of the Black sisters. Granted, August had never had a proper conversation with her until about half an hour prior, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t one to hear what was said about her. He’d heard that she’d been known to lie to get her own way, and do other manipulative things of the sort. He wasn’t one to judge or stereotype people, but Andromeda did sound like a typical Slytherin. “Are we really going to write a paper or have you brought me out here for some other reason?” he turned to Amelia, raising an eyebrow. “You’re quite good friends with her, Amey, do you know anything?”

Andy was really quite proud she had managed this thus far already. Though she could easily see the questioning looks thrown at her, they didn’t seem that suspicious. Of course it would eventually appear she had an ulterior motive. But for someone who was good in that area, it was not about lying, it was about hiding one’s tracks. If something said or done wasn’t actually, technically a lie, then it most certainly couldn’t be proved as one. She’d learned that eventually, and it seemed to come in handy quite often. And she’d be doing this for the good of both of them, too. They couldn’t complain in the long run.

Her ears perked up, however, as she heard August’s voice ring out, her name being called out in his voice. Either that or he was saying ‘and he’ randomly, which she quite doubted. She whirled around, her feet still moving in the direction she had originally intended, managing to walk backwards and somehow avoiding ramming into anyone. Although that could be due to anyone in her path quickly jumped away when they noticed just who it was that was jogging backward slightly. She got used to that sort of behaviour, so much so that she barely ever noticed it anymore.

She quirked her eyebrows as his voice rang out again, this time able to see both of them with her back turned around. They were both looking at her a bit skeptically, and she’d be damned if she let her plan fall apart before it had even started. She glanced at August like he had grown two heads and were speaking another language. So, really, the way she usually tended to look at people. “What are you going on about, Cobb?” She asked incredulously, looking absolutely befuddled by the assumption. She let out a huff, rolling her eyes slightly. She stuffed her hand into the deep pocket of her robe, her fingers grabbing a hold of the object inside of it and dragged it out. In her hand she revealed a scroll of parchment tied with a emerald green ribbon. Like she was going to go into this without backup. Please. She was a Black.

What in Merlin’s balls is happening here, Hollow?
And why wasn’t I invited?

cara-doc-dearborn liked your post: How many blokes have you shagged?

Nobody asked you, Dearborn.

I swear to Merlin if you sent that bloody owl I’m coming after you.

princess-cissa:

You’ve been very lax in your older sister duties. -pulls out a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket- Sh, don’t tell Lucius but they help keep me calm. -offers her one- I’ve been busy. OWLs and all are a bloody pain… How are you?

image

Yes, well, one younger sister would have to be around for one older sister to practice such duties. -she gives a surprised gasp, a grin growing onto her lips- Narcissa Black! Well, would you look at this. Change your hair colour and I could convince people you’re a mini Andy. -she smirks, taking the cigarette in her hand- Better now that I’ve got this. Never cease to put a smile on my face, do you, Cissa? How has your day been otherwise, then? Don’t need to curse anyone, do I?

What are you doing with Cobb and Bones?
ASKED BY Anonymous

What, can’t I just have a nice outing with friends? They’re nice. Do I always have to be up to some ulterior motive? I’m not nearly as sneaky as you think I am.

Yes, I am.

How many trips to the Hospital Wing have you had?

princess-cissa:

Unfortunately they were cowards and hid behind owls. -smiles- How’re you sister?

There are… other ways to reveal the identity of one’s anonymous owl, don’t you know, Cissa? Merlin, have I taught you nothing? -grins- Apparently, one of my roommates thought it would be fun to nick both my cigarettes and my winter robe. So, honestly, I’ve seen better days. ‘Sides that owl, how’s my baby sister doing, then? Haven’t been avoiding me, have you?

What are your feelings on your sisters engagements? Do you like their fiances?
ASKED BY Anonymous

To be honest, that’s not a fair question. And to be even more honest, no, I don’t. There isn’t a single man that I have yet to meet who I feel could ever be fit for, let alone deserve, either of my sisters.

So whether or not Lucius or Rodolphus can or will make my sisters happy and fulfilled is probably a more sensible question. In which case I also don’t have an incredibly positive answer for, either.

If my sisters are intent on living their lives with their respective fiancés, then I will support them until my dying breath, whether or not I feel either of their fiancés are deserving of them.

Someone was surely interested in my sex life…

You made sure to hex them, didn’t you?

That’s what I always do, anyway.
